Welcome to Direk Schools

Direk Primary, Direk Junior Primary School and Direk Preschool, are situated in Salisbury North, 27km north of the Adelaide CBD. At Direk Schools, we aspire to achieve our vision of 'Developing Successful Learners and Responsible Citizens' through a variety of innovative and rigorous programs that foster and develop student engagement, global citizenship, and inquiry-based and foundational learning.

Students participate in a range of intercultural learning and service experiences in which they make positive contributions to their local and global communities. We have a strong focus on 'Accelerated Literacy', 'First Steps in Maths' and science. Our school is also involved in funded projects such as 'Maths for Learning Inclusion', 'Financial Literacy' and 'SMARTER'.

All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and ICT and thinking skills are explicitly taught. The school provides specialist teachers in PE, performing arts, Spanish and Indonesian. Our Homework Centre and Breakfast Club are supported by parents.
